Actually Guys, I did take a dozen bottles down to the event ..................but only for the AWPA girls to enjoy as a thankyou treat we only opened two bottles on the sly inside the tent for all the hard working crew :peepwall:

J170....Check the Air Tractor web site................last time I looked , for a "COOL" $1,000,000 extra you can have missiles attached for air to ground combat ...I WANT ONE WITH ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES God could I do some damage with one of them..........Particularely around a certain Melbourne suburb ....................Alley

Hi Kaz...............Don't I know it ......................I was training in our club Blanik two years ago.................what a beautiful girl she was................then she bit me on the bum I stalled her twice in under 2mins that got my heart rate going and my instructor doing this I slapped her when I put her back in the hangar Then a week or so later she was grounded Miss the old girl, especially when flying with eagles at 4500'...................That actually was the last flight I had in her..................Great way and memory to go out on though ................Alley

Hi J170, Yes I have for a AWPA Flyin back in 2010, great strip and wonderful hospitality. I did a trial Navex from Yren (Renmark) for the day with my instructor. PM me for more details of one of our members who lives there or PM FlyGirlTam for she did a skills day there last year that the AWPA girls put on. Lovely new club house with great facilities..............They bent over backwards for us and we had a impromtu "Air" display of the Air Tractor that is hangared there..............What a hoot that was Fly Safe...............................Alley

Hi Fellow Aivators, Of late I've been doing/trying to locate an airstrip on a privately owned property in the Dunkeld (Vic) region to no avail. What I'm wanting to know did any of the flyers here on this site hangar their A/C on this property? Sorry guys/gals don't know the name of the property but I believe that a Squirrel Chopper was hangared there to do "Fire Spotting" for the CFA, also large "Heavey Metal" A/C flew in quite regularly. The property was sold June/July of this year. As Always.................Fly and Keep safe...................................Alley
