  1. Nice plane, and even nicer result for the Almighty All Whites  Shes due out at 0900 NZDT and should be in SYD about 1045 local.
  2. Full flight is LUX-SIN-MEL-AKL-LAX-LUX
  3. Regular flight mate, 74Y, MEL-AKL-LAX scheduled to leave MEL on Sunday, arrive and dept Auckland on monday and arrive Los Angeles back on sunday
  4. Very nice Pricey. She's due into Wellington on thursday - and will be the largest aircraft into WLG in a very long time! Would love to be there to see it, as its going to be fun fitting her in. Note to Daz - adjust schedule if necessary so you take pics of this in WLG!
  5. By my calculations Daz, you should have ZQA on QF44 tomorrow, unless they change the rotations round overnight
  6. Very nice. ZQC is named Katherine Mansfield, she's been in service almost 2 weeks and is still yet to get up here to sunny Queensland :frown: Hoping to catch her in SYD on 3rd Dec, but knowing my luck that'll be the day she does come here!
  7. Here's one that might interest you Mr Chainy - Cessna 210N VH-KGI registered to Brisbane based Vanguard Aviation, showing up on radar here in Brissie - looks to be fully ADSB equipped as well, as the other smaller aircraft that log are only Mode-S, dont appear on the screen only in the list Noticed her doing circuits at Redcliffe then tracking south to fly around Archerfield before making the missed approach at Brisbane, she is now tracking North-West heading in the general direction of Kingaroy
  8. Hey Ray welcome to TAA Hope you enjoy it here
  9. Daz, she is ZK-ECO of Air National, bought for charter work but spends most of her time in the Air National hanger! Her last trip was 08-12 Oct AKL-SYD//SYD-CHC-BHE//BHE-ZQN-SYD-AKL History; ECO is a 146-200 ex C-GRNX and arrived in AKL on 15/12/08 after ferrying in from Anchorage via the following route ANC-ADK-MDY-HNL-CXI-APW-TBU-AKL. ECO entered the NZ register on 14/01/09.
  10. Sounds like a great trip mate Love the overview photos of SYD, especially the 2nd one with the INTL terminal, thanks for posting them
  11. Thanks guys  might've been a reason for it too Glenn lolz A little bit of over indulgence tonight, but otherwise a nice quiet day.
  12. Its showing on balus.info as having operated JQ400 SYD-OOL (ARR) then JQ403 OOL-SYD (ENR) which obviously diverted to BNE, so this just adds to the intrigue and mystery.
  13. She flew very low and very loud overhead here yesterday - just a pity I was out and nowhere near my camera, even had a non aviation friend ring me and ask what that weird plane was doing do so low, and flying in the direction it was.
  14. Right folks, here she is! Jean Batten in all her glory. Fresh off the press, photo taken this morning at Brisbane  Now just have to get ZQB and ZQC during my trip in december.
  15. Hey j.l.c welcome to taa hope you find everything you need here I cant answer your questions but there are plenty here who can. Drop into the chat room sometime and say hi.
  16. Hey Antoneoz welcome to TAA Hope you enjoy your time here, its a great site, I'm sure you'll find plenty to keep you occupied Drop by the chat room some time, when there's a few of us in there and say hi. In relation to QF31 I have VH-OQA as having operated this on saturday, not sure about individual sites that will label the aircraft, mostly we just work from ACARS and SBS logs, posted to newsgroups. Although some of these have internet sites.
  17. should this rumour be true, we should expect an announcement from said company this week .... here's hoping
  18. Hoping to see the 3 ZQ* sisters by/during my little trip in Dec, although Im only giving myself two airport options to see them...
  19. Just doing the standard NZ135/136. NZs fleet has been a bit all over the shop this week, with all AKL-APW flights upgraded to 772s, due the earthquake/tsunami aftermath. Had an extra 763 on the NZ731/732 on thursday morning into BNE in lieu of scheduled A320.
