  1. Welcome to TAA mate, enjoy your time here, its a great place with friendly folk.
  2. Daz, you've got more chance of seeing it while your at work than when your at home. She operates the fishing boat crew charters to and from NZCH not NZAA. But hey you never know one day it might make it to AKL.
  3. Daz, As Chainy says it wasnt transmitting the flight code, but after careful use of www.flightstats.com to get the arrival time, then trawling through an SBS log it looks likey to have either been 738 VH-VXQ or 763 VH-ZXF. If your mother could narrow it down to either 738 or 763 then you should have your answer
  4. "Today Tonight, Last Night" might be more apt
  5. Interesting I watched it here in Brissie tonight - as scheduled. I heard quite a bit of the transmissions that were supposedly unintelligible, must be all those hours spent listening to dodgy transmissions in NZ with all the Middle Eastern and Indian pilots from Nelson Aviation College, which have honed my senses.
  6. ****Warning this video contains body painted NZ staff + CEO**** The newest advert from Air New Zealand talking about their fares with "nothing to hide", a dig at Pacific Blue and Jetstar where the lowest fare also includes an extra charge for baggage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elD38pJX7iE [/url] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elD38pJX7iE and the behind the scenes of the filming http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnhVcD74i14 [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnhVcD74i14]YouTube - Air New Zealand staff have nothing to hide - behind the scenes[/ame]
  7. Hey Josh, welcome aboard TAA, enjoy your time here
  8. Have also now seen the schedule which says into CHC on 6/5 out 8/5, in 10/5 out 12/5 I wouldnt have thought that gave BUF enough time to get all the way home so the second flight may be a different rego - keep your eyes and PP's out
  9. NZ it is - not sure when it arrived into CHC, obviously sometime today, but CIAL website shows it departing Friday (8/5) at 1230NZST as UZB3512 to KUL, so look out for it over NSW sometime after 1400local.
  10. Hey Ops Welcome to TAA, the best and friendliest forum plying the Aussie skies. Hope you enjoy your time here. I look forward to hearing more tales from your job and company. I'd be interested to know if your company owns their own fleet or just lease different aircraft as required.

  18. All banner towing also happens from Ardmore, they usually use a Citabria, but there are also two or three helicopters that do it as well.
  19. CF '09 is reported as the best ever :) initial estimates put the crowd for the 3 days at 30000-35000. With saturday breaking all records at around 15000, and even sunday matching the previous best. This is the view on saturday, looking down the crowd to Spitfire Alpha Lima landing on 12. And one of the more famous members of the crowd who photographed and filmed proceedings on friday and saturday And these are some posted for others on a kiwi forum i'm part of Other than the Red Chequers this was the RNZAF's involvement in the show, the Huey's "Iroquoi Black", Sioux's "Sioux Blue", and Harvard 1015 As mentioned there was no other RNZAF involvement, despite NZ7572 having visited Woodbourne on both the weds and thurs, and a Seasprite also being noted parked at Woodbourne on thursday. This is from the friday display, where another member was offered the opportunity to fly with the leader in the Red Chequers display.

  25. Cant think of anything preventing it Darren - its legal to monitor frequencies here so cant see why they would stop you. Just throw it up and then if they complain plead ignorance and swap to ACARS As per most things here just do it until someone complains, if no one complains no one cares.
