But they had Eugenics back then to tidy up the bottom end of the population. We really are dumbing down the population.- 1

Tom, Those bolts you referred to might also be called dowels.

The cowling is probably just fine but your prop extension may be too long.-have a cowling, that is to short -
Except the one that won Ron Hoey the trophy at Natfly for spinner/prop fit.I have about 20mm gap between my rear spinner and backplate to the very front of the cowl. I have never seen a sav with a gap smaller that 15mm -
I have had no issue loading FSX on my windows 10 desktop computer. It is an off the shelf Acer gaming computer (i7 processor,1060 graphics) having gone to the trouble of building a crossfire double graphics card system, for no benefit, it should be noted that CPU is where FSX does most of it's fancy stuff.

I had this problem but found that it only strikes the frame when moved beyond it's intended operation throw so the problem went away once the control surfaces were connected.Thank you, Guy. Great pics, and such a tidy build!I have also moved my torque tube forward a bit, as the rear of the dogleg in it was hitting the lip on the back longeron where it rotates.- 1

So you haven't watched the news much for the last 5 or 10 years then. This wouldn't be even a slightly isolated example. Then it's not really news is it! More a paid advert.- 1

Angus Beef paid $10,000 for about three mentions on Burke's Backyard in prime time about twenty years ago. Does that give you any clues about how they could do it too. The content doesn't matter as long as the money is flowing. Remember John Laws, oh that's right he is still on, just no body listens to him any more!I wonder how many other agents for the likes of Evector or Bristel are watching and wondering how they can get their, more affordable RAA aircraft on prime time.- 1

I don't live far from Gurley and I hired a car trailer and picked my kit up in Brisbane. No huge cost involved. A bigger pain and cost will be getting an L4 out to inspect the finished product before it can be registered.I wouldn't build if I lived out at Gurley, the cost of freighting everything out there will be a significant expense -
And stored in original packaging. A bit hard to organise after installation!Rotax Line Maintenance Manual 05-10-00 (page 5) states that the maximum possible storage period of the engine is limited to 24 months.and that is providing the preservation directives have been followed.- 1

Sux to be the bloke climbing up the hill in that last shot! He thought he was nearly to the top too.

And also at slaughter works, avoiding the splash just doesn't happen there! As a side note I am pretty sure that it is a compulsory vaccination at our local feedlot if you are working there. -
It is a nasty disease but no worse than leptospirosis, glandular fever or Ross river fever, but they all take a compounding toll on your liver. The eldest didn't need get vaccinated as I suggested before. she was the one who caught it when she was about 6 years old, had a huge temperature for about 3 days and slept a lot. when she later got tested pre-vaccination they told us she wouldn't get the vaccine because of her previous exposure.
-
Two of my girls have never been vaccinated and they have come and gone for over 20 years without incident. We only vaccinated the eldest, left the spares to their destiny.

You get Q fever hanging around the wrong end of cows! Be careful of the splash. You can get vaccinated if you make a habit of it. They test before they vaccinate you to make sure you haven't already been exposed so that test should have been able to confirm your diagnosis. Leonie and I have been vaccinated for about 20 years but our eldest daughter Tiffany couldn't be vaccinated because she had already been exposed.

My parents both got cards cancelled because of suspect transactions in Sydney before the cards had arrived in their regional mail. Both used in different joining western Sydney suburbs. The card details must have been compromised at the card issuing centre and duplicate cards made.Worst case in my experience was a card that was compromised within 48 hours of receipt. Used only once on a telephone online transaction with a large and reputable Australian company. So it was either them or the bank itself that was the issue. As usual they refused to advise me of the outcome. -
They may just specialise in ripping off Drifter pilots!

Your rivet painting is something I have been keen to try so I can install my Zenith 4 stage flap kit. I will be interested to see how you go pulling those rivets without the paint chipping off as the rivet head deforms.

I thought it was a pool toy!

I have imagined what would happened after the control line wrapped around your ears and the the line got shorter with each circuit. The motor would gradually get louder, right?

And round about it goes! And we all get to finance the enforcer. The nanny state prospers because people don't be careful what they wish for.

Why doesn't this person simply purchase their own aircraft and hire it out to anyone holding an RPC? They've identified an issue, they could take the initiative, resolve it and make a huge amount of profit along the way!
But what if there were people he didn't want to hire to, surely he would want the right to refuse and choose.
