Recommended Posts

hi

i would like to make contact with someone/club that can provide remote area training in a jab . i`m in a rut & time poor . have tried going to the source & been disappointed ( twice ) so i thought i would ask if this is a possibility to do my training @home rather than trying to travel

any thoughts appreciated

I did exactly what you want to do for exactly the same reasons but I am not as isolated as you perhaps. I trained of my own strip in an ICP Savannah with FlightSkill (Bill Grieve) from Beerwah QLD and did Certificate, Xcountry and PAx in twelve days, I think three weeks would have been more comfortable but I couldn't come up with a second student to make the extra time worthwhile for Bill. If you are not married to the jabiru idea he would be worth a call, he has CFIed at Mount Isa so Northern Territory would probably be doable.

Phone the manager at BarkleyHomestead Roadhouse and ask him who came and did his licence with him.

I recall he had just purchased a 6 cylinder Jab and his instructor came with him to collect it from WA and teach him to fly.
