I'm more familiar with Tromsø in the far north, where I usually spend a part of each year for work. Hello Geirt and !......I`ve had silent flight several times, over the years when the engine stopped turning the prop and I had to do a forced landing!... I really do love silent flight and as I fly from my own property, I still practise dead stick landings, regularly. i am also a bit into microlight planes You must get cold! When I was instructing and would take a student over the Atherton Tableland in winter, on a cross country exercise, in the Drifter ( My current plane ) I had plenty of clothing on but I was still terribly cold and the area is North Queensland Australia, LOL.
