FSX - Tecnam P92 Simulation

Recommended Posts

Howdy All,

I was wondering if anyone had a link through to a Good P92 or Similar Setup High Wing, that works with FSX, I've found a few, but the rendering or controls are a little unbelievable (I love with one that you need no Right rudder at all to take off, fire wall it, and wait for the airspeed to build and it takes off by itself, no trim in flight, nothing .. not very believable :)!)

If anyone has any thoughts or directions please let me know, I need to log some couch hours and the yoke and pedals are calling me, and the default planes that come with FSX(Extended) are to GA for my liking :)

Thanks all!

Mark

I assume you will have the A22 Foxbat model? It has it's realism flaws but still quite accurate.

Would be great for someone to model a Sportstar or Jab for FSX...

Agree with both recommendations above. I have both and they are easily my favourites to fly in my FSX setup. Can't wait to get hold of a proper Jabiru one, tho'.

I found a very poor Jab model, the power settings are way out (Engine goes up to ~5000rpm) and it leaps off the runway at what seems to be close to 200kts...

Whoa! If Jabiru was able to make one of those for real it would be pretty exciting!! drive.gif.1181dd90fe7c8032bdf2550324f37d56.gif

Where did you get the copy? Im pretty good at modifying the .cfg file in flight-sim and Im sure i can sort that engine drama out. For it to do 200kts something is very wrong.

Cheers.

I think it might have been of some OZx site or something... The IAS did not show a ridiculous speed but you could tell be comparing it too other models that it was far too quick...
