Probably up at 10,000 feet so there is less margin of power available. the Piper Cub was a popular plane for rescue in the ALPS. See "Crash Pilot " by Dick Grace.

I don't have a problem with the video, these guys fly aeroplanes like we drive cars. By that I mean, everyday.

Ah the just Aircraft Smackdown, what a special machine !.........these guys are running huge discs (some carbon ) with double brake calliperes, so they have the stop as well as the go, and very high lift wings. Interesting they go with a bit of power to soften the touchdowns though. Ain't no Jabarus that's for sure.................Maj....014_spot_on.gif.1f3bdf64e5eb969e67a583c9d350cd1f.gif

Steve Henry- The pilot and owner of this Super STOL uses a 912S which is also fitted with a after market turbo.

Ok...I thought it sounded a bit healthy!.........he 'll have to watch it with the high compression of the 912s....unless he's shaved the pistons a bit.....................Maj....

At lower levels he might, but up at altitude he should be alright. He probably watches the MP gauge. Nev
