Riley Posted September 4, 2015 Share Posted September 4, 2015 Just on the engine, forgot to say: as well as being 10kg lighter & electric start, the MZ also makes 30% more power than the Rotax 503. (And this is reportedly borne out in real world experience rather than ideal dyno numbers). (Sorry, I just really like my new engine.) Given that the R503 is no longer available from Rotax, it will be interesting to hear your critique on the MZ once you've had time to 'shake it down'. Hi Soleair, Thanks for the first hand report, there are a few engines out there but not much in the way of direct comparisons. Did you consider the Hirth range?
