Cooked breakfast, tea & coffee.

Hi All,

 

Reminder that the fly in breakfast at Childers is on this Saturday (7th Nov) 0730-1030.

 

Forecast is for light winds, possible afternoon storm. Regardless of the weather the club will be cooking a Breaky so your welcome to join us.

A great stop over place, shady trees to camp under, toilets. Only prob.......fuel is several km away in town......nice town tho. Have dropped in several times enroute

I will be there (driving :( due to having to have chainsaws and drills on board)..my Dad will be coming along as well. I have to go up to the farm tomorrow night to meet the insurance assessors there on friday. Have to do some more repairs and cleaning up debris so will stay friday night and call in to the breakfast on the way home on saturday morning. So see you there Geoff and Brett

What time in the morning are you departing Caboolture ? We want to be there at 7.30 - 8am ish.

I hope to get away about 0630 which should put us up there by about 0800 or just a little bit after.

 

Will obviously depend on the weather.

I removed all the tree branches it doesnt really need mowing yet though. I missed out on getting a mower conditioner 7 ft that works off the tractor...bummer then my strips would be nice. There are still a few small sticks on it but when I slash it next which will be on the 27th this month it will be better. Main thing today was meet the insurance people and get the long bolts on to the main hangar doors so they cant come off the tracks again. Ran out of time to run over it with the slasher

Check this out, besides the Naips Briefing, here is the weather reader now at 5.30, shows showers enroute through Gympie and a storm cell approaching Childers in the next few hours.

Might give it a miss, me thinks .

Hi All,

 

Thanks to all that attended the Breakfast. Despite a dodgy forecast we were blessed with good weather and a good turnout ( 35 people & 12 aircraft).

 

Keep an eye out for our next fly-in Breaky, most likely first weekend in Feb.

Awesome day out. Thank you guys for putting it on. Was a great trip up and the same going home and the weather smiled on us as well.

 

Had a good time met some folks and even better had a good feed as well. I will be back.

After a weather clearance from on the spot pilots Mark Kyle and Bruce Mc Gill we got away not far from the main crew out of Caboolture, great flight up and back, and were met with a very friendly club with a great breakie.

Looking at Grahams pictures, and I am just wondering why the photo of my little plane would have the largest file size, it couldn't have anything to do with the size of the pilot surely?
