Mavis however had other ideas, not being from under a long white cloud, she thought that sheep were only good for counting and certainly not associated with fun or....................

This was such a dramatic change from his previous history of comments that one could only presume that Mavis exercising her expert knowledge and whiles from her June D Watkins experience had..............

  3. All attention is being placed on the pilot who had the legal responsibility for the conduct of the flight.

No one seems to consider the influence of the other force in the helicopter.

I cannot believe that anyone can spend many hours as a passenger/hirer or owner of a chopper in that location and not be aware of the hazards of losing VMC.

At any time that VIP, celebrity, employer, very imposing figure and well known bully could have called the flight off.

Certainly the pilot had the legal responsibility, a responsibility that may have been exercised differently had the other force on the flight exercised some executive/moral responsibility.

    We will never know

but I am certain that there is more to this than, I quote, "The chopper pilot was simply a complete idiot. "

  4. ................at the direction of the MFS producer was makeup.

Mavis being originally a good little Irish girl immediately went into guilty mode and presumed that before she could progress any further in her new media life she would have to make up with the Captain after that dreadful incident in the..........

  5. suddenly Mavis remembered another of June D Watkin's aphorisms "grab opportunity in both hands" ,

to Mavis nothing represented opportunity as did a joy stick so she grabbed with both hands and started to experiment.

Soon she discovered the rewards of gentle pressure upon the stick, and that a drifter could be led in any direction she desired,

including the highs and the lows,

so much pleasure and satisfaction was to be had in this aero naughty cal adventure,

one hand, two hands, AH the joys of solo aero naughty cals.

once that paper work is filed the Drifter fleet will be cleared back to Lakes Entrance to complete  Turbo's fly past for the MFS promotion video, with Kylie photoshopped in for the UK tourist market and Greta slotted  in for the Davos wind up video version, all of which will get the tourists Quantasing back to OZ all fired up to commence................

  9. to propose ………. ..

however Salty a great fan of Married at first Sight thought that he knew all there was to know about proposals and decided that the Riverland would do him for a good while yet MBACBCI or no MBACBCI .

He did notice however that the Captain was back playing with acronyms again and thought that the combination of CWA and NZSEE could be interesting, CWA he knew were good for  lammingtons at fly-ins (avref) but NZSEE did confuse.

After considerable thought (non WF ref) the idea of a combination of a cross wind and a KIWI in a grass skirt did make NZSEE sound intriguing; so he "Clear Propped"  the Drifter and .............

  10. Am I correct in presuming that any fuel or engine mechanical issue would affect one engine first and thus give the crew some time to take recovery action?.

Is it possible that atmospheric conditions above a very hot fire would be so low in oxygen as to stop all engines at once?

Obviously turbines at high altitude operate at very low oxygen concentrations OK.

    Just thinking not judging.

These were a professional crew operating an aircraft and in a hazardous environment with which they were very familiar.

Such a tragedy for all involved.

We owe the aviators who put themselves at risk on our behalf so much.

  11. .... of the very best Aryan stock and immediately invested in a large vat of liquid nitrogen for the preservation for future generations of certified quality ova and semen.

Turbo when he/she/whatever heard of this cunning scheme suffered a mental throw back to his speedcar days and immediately rushed over with his jiggler siphon hose (avref) determined to charge the Drifter tyres with nitrogen.

Not as it turned out a great idea, more a Fukishima moment than a Damascus one especially when one reflects on the result of this exercise when................
