  1. Hi Kasper, I would be interested to hear more or from others on your Streak III comments as I was under the assumption (only from others as I have never flown a Streak III) that this wing was a generally well rounded and stable wing in comparison lets say to the earlier Streak and Streak II versions. Would like to hear anything you or anyone else wants to add on this especially when you say "I can see people getting into trouble with quickly". Whilst this may not be the thread for it I am always interested to hear the more experienced among us comments on the likes of the Streaks, Cruz & Arrow S & K wings. It's all information I like to tuck away for upgrade time :-) Cheers
  2. Latest Sports Pilot touches on statistics for RA if you're interested. Just remember that it always depends on how the information was collected and presented.
  3. Hi Onetrack, I echo everything already said by the others. I am in Perth and a recent convert from GA to RA by way of a MW. There are plenty of RA guys around in Perth but not so many Trike guys (or they are all hiding). When I get some more hours etc under my belt I'll happily give you a shout for an outing one day down the coast. Keep in touch
  4. Sending you a Private Message Kaz.......
  5. Hi Kaz, It was Tropicair but that was about 18 years ago. I know the then CFI is sadly no longer with us so not sure what became of the school. What was your Station called? Cheers Craig
  6. I started my PPL in Carnarvon (CTAF) then completed it in Jandakot albeit most of it was done in Jandakot. I was trained at Minovation Flight Training (check their website), call and have a chat to Min she is the owner/CFI she'll talk you through what they can offer in a no nonsense way.
  7. Hi All, I am interested to hear from anyone that has purchased a Microlight from interstate and flown it back, either East to West or visa versa? (or North to South for that matter) In particular, I'd love to hear your experiences and thoughts, budget costs, type of aircraft. Is it something you look back at fondly having had memorable experiences and gained invaluable experience or do you look back and wonder if you momentarily took leave of your senses Cheers Craig
  8. Thanks Kaz/Mike. Mike now flying an Airborne Classic 582/Streak Microlight Cheers Craig
  9. Hi to all, Just came across this site that looks full of great information. Have had a GA PPL since '98 but discontinued flying due to my inability to justify the increasing costs. Always loved flying and have just carried out a conversion and purchased a used Microlight. Great being back in flying and especially this form, cant wait to explore new places and the world of Microlighting and hopefully meet some likeminded people along the way. Craig
