If you feel a bit troubled, it is better to simply ignore the troll. Don't give any of them any oxygen.
If they get no response(s), then eventually they fade away and either troll elsewhere or spend time weeding their garden.

I am using Cortec VpCI-373, a corrosion inhibitor that is recommended by Zenith. VpCI-373 is frequently used by North American aluminium aircraft builders. So far, I have found it easy to apply with a brush.
This Cortec product is supposed to prevent any vapour (and airborne corrosive salts) entering into the small gaps between the riveted parts which may eventually cause corrosion.

The sound will always be projected ahead with RAAus aircraft but they don't work for aircraft flying faster than Mach 1.

The sonic kangaroo-repellers are in the same category as snake oil - they simply don't work. Why? Because they don't project their sound far enough ahead - and their whistle is drowned out by vehicle and road/tyre noise.

The tapered wing roots certainly look 701-esque.

Very nice. Thanks Garry.

One reason would be that not a 600kg MTOW aircraft at present. For the past 18 moths or so the airframe and wings of all Swifts and Nynjas are 600kg; they are just finalising the 600 kg undercarriage. Then they will be a 600kg aircraft approved aircraft.
Mine is 286kg light and 540kg MTOW. I expect the 600kg upgrade may add about 10kg to light weight so an extra 50kg payload. I'll make a removable pod under for my chairs and tent to save storage in cabin area. Will be awesome then.
Does your one have the 600 kg wing? ...or are you planning to 'beef up' your wings to the higher weight performance??

I wonder why there is no dealer Down Under?

Interesting fact about the Pepsi-painted Concorde - they only had it in that colour scheme for 16 chartered flights, and because it was blue instead of the normal white, the pilots had to fly maximum of mach 1.7 instead of the normal maximum 2.04. (Because of skin heating).
Must have cost a fortune for that advertising campaign! It cost about twenty million US dollars.

Hi Skippy,
Have you considered getting an MGL brand EFIS?

This is a nice picture of the engine from Wikipedia.

"Most rotary engines consume about five or six quarts of oil per hour.”
You could work out the miles per gallon rate for both oil and fuel for this mode of transport.

Subject says to all, after a lot of work by Aeropup at Gympie it’s finished! Had a folding wings conversion, Rotax rubber replacement, instruments calibrated, engine with 345 hours but has to run on condition inspected, Sweetapple prop refurbished, new tyres and brakes refurbished. Along with other minor items. Hopefully get test flown in the next week 🙂
Then I will trailer it home....
Perhaps you could share a few pictures?

Forum member JG3 wrote a nice review of the inverted stabiliser/elevator as found on the Zenith CH701 aircraft. Hans at Kilkoy replaced this with an ICP Savannah horizontal stabiliser/elevator.
This article shows real world experience with empennage lift and drag: https://www.stolspeed.com/tail-feathers

It's probably clearer with the Vertical Stabiliser/Rudder. Usually the vertical stabiliser is a symmetrical wing - same curvature on both sides. When the rudder is moved from its neutral position, does it create lift on one side by changing the camber of the symmetrical wing, or is it just a sheet of material thrust out into the airstream to cause drag?
When the aircraft is an a steep bank angle the rudder will produce lift.

No pricing yet of course as I said on the Eprop IFA or CS units. I dont think it is going to be cheap but I suppose when you see the pricing of the Airmaster and others..who knows. Anyway as soon as I know something I will post it here
A very important consideration is that it has to be light!

A 2000 foot airstrip is probably too long.

Hi FTS.
There are quite a number of Savannah owners and pilots in this forum or, like me, Savannah builders.
There is a plentiful supply of Savannah information on this great Rec Flying site which is worthwhile reading.
