Guest Maj Millard

This is a time when aircraft are readied for the summer flying season, after possibly months of inactivity. I have done some jobs recently on just such aircraft as an L2, and you would be surprised what I encounter on some aircraft. Hornets nests in places you wouldn't believe, fuel lines that should have been replaced five years ago, fuel pumps on 912 s that were withdrawn from service by a Rotax mandatory Service Bulletin three years ago...still in Service. And the list continues !...If you don't have the skills or knowledge to do the maintenance properly, than please get someone who can, to assist..............Maj....014_spot_on.gif.1f3bdf64e5eb969e67a583c9d350cd1f.gif

Just read elsewhere that the pilot had just bought this xt 912 trike and was flying it to another airport to get a condition report, on the way he passed low over his mothers house, where the crash happened. His mum then had a heart attack.

If true, very sad.

Regards Bill
