Good to see they have young apprentices, not just old farts, working on them to keep the skills going.

Tthat's an interesting write up about Duxford. I went there inAugust, unfortunately I didn't allow enough time to see everything, but it is an amazing place. A spitfire took off and did about 15 minutes flying display, all un announced so i assume it happens regularly. Go there if you ever get the chance and another must see place is Old Warden, which in not far away from Duxford. About 6 or 8 hangars, all joined together and full of flyable aircraft, including a Bristol Blenhiem and the He Haviland Comet, which eon the England to Australia air race. They are also doing rebuilds and maintenance of old and not so old aircraft.
