Admin Posted June 23, 2015 Share Posted June 23, 2015 My wife Corrine and I had a good discussion about the site's pilot supplies store and we decided to move it back to the name Clear Prop and just go back to specialising in pilot and aircraft supplies. So the shop is now back on ClearProp (.com.au). In the coming days the categories will be changed back to focusing on the pilot supplies and all the non aviation products will be placed in a "Clearance" category. In the mean time, if there is anything listed in the shop that you or your wife/girlfriend/kids etc would like, that is non aviation, make a reasonable offer as we want to clear all these things out. Another change is Corrine will now manage the shop and look after all the orders. This is because I just don't get the time now to do everything. I am working 9 to 5+, run this site, Recreational Flying which consumes my whole day and evening with no time left to also run the shop. Clear Prop is not intended to be run as a full commercial income producing business as it is only there to generate some income to offset the costs of keeping this site, Recreational Flying, open and free for everyone. This is why the margins on the products in Clear Prop are always kept very very low otherwise, as a commercial concern, the prices would be much higher like other aviation shops and therefore you would demand my 100% focus for you. So Corrine will look after the shop and all your orders with my part time support ensuring everyone can get what they need cheaper than elsewhere whilst at the same time helping to keep this Recreational Flying site alive and free. Admin Posted July 12, 2015 Author Share Posted July 12, 2015 I have just found an issue with the Clear Prop Shop...the SEO configuration was corrupted causing a user to just go back to the home page when they clicked on a product.
