How a Radial Engine Works

Reminds me of another aircraft engine shoehorned into a car. Although not a fan of excess, I loved the stories about Maseratis and Porsches being overtaken at high speed by a mystery Rolls Royce...

Not a Merlin as he admits at the end. The unsupercharged version is the Meteor. We used to use 4 gals per mile in the Centurion tank, which weighed 52 tons. Great fun to punt around on rough country. I had an accident in one once. An officer came round to where I was and told me he had just run into me with a truck. I never felt a thing.
