Welcome, not so far from here. Your training would be useful to anyone wanting to convert an auto engine ;) Lots of fun and knowledge to be had here.

Thanks , now am in Canary Islands so really too far from anywhere in Europe, but regarding to converting a car engine to an Aircraft Engine , any problem , am ready to design and convert a Porsche 911 Engine to a powerful 380 Cv Aircraft , vous êtes de quelle ville en France ?

First of all, welcome Rey. I see you've viewed my profile. Are you going through us all?

Secondly, welcome to rmorton. Yes, I see that you joined in 2015 but you're still down as a new member. You need to post more often. Now, with respect to your comment about a Citroen diesel, are you converting one for aircraft use?

Did I really ??? 2015? Ooops. I only really started on the road to building and flying this year so hopefully my posts will become more frequent and probably once the build starts more annoying.

As for the Diesel, its a long story... but I am very interested by the Gaz'aille which is powered by a TUD 4 peogot/citroen ally block diesel. I got hold of a TUD5 and the idea was for my two sons who are into mechanical engineering could strip and rebuild that before embarking on the TUD4. Anyway in the meantime they have gone off to uni and I am left to face a very long build indeed, so with that in mind I decided that the Savannah was a more realistic project to get into the air before I get too old. The Gaz'aille is still on the cards and I want to build it but I will do that at a much more leisurely pace and concentrate on cost and weight saving, as is the spirit of the project.

Thanks for welcome , but I viewed your profile because you had been visiting my profile first, secondly as you mentioned am here since just a few days and not 2015, relating to Converting a Citroen Diesel? why not? once you are a Mechanic Engineer you should be able to do lots of amazing invent and artwork, but personally I don't recommend any stand up engine, and relating to posting more, it would be my pleasure but am well busy by my duties during day time also a great part of night time.
