  1. Whether wrong, or long, white clouds, they'd have to learn to adjust to their conditions which i'm sure would be a challenge to some. So you'd be spot on again Nev. What you might think is a wheel wobble on landing may just be the Island shaking it's fist again, but it's always prudent to check.
  2. kei te hae ahau (for Aussie's, i'm envious)
  3. Looking great Marty! Having been following your build, I and others are probably almost as excited as you to see this.
  4. You should have known me back then Nev. I used to very cheaply build my own radio control gear using acorn valves out of walkie-talkies from the government surplus shops. I could have saved you a lot of money. The fluttering rudder (galloping ghost system} left lots of room for improvement though.
  5. That was a very sad event and a tragedy suffered by quite a few on here. I witnessed a lot of the damage. Thead drift Trivia for the day..........Lismore is the only town in Australia where they have a speed limit for boats in the main High Street. Years ago SES flood rescue boats travelled too fast down the High Street and bow waves smashed all the shop windows. FACT! Back to topic.
  6. You'll be telling me soon that if you put a brick in the back of a windsock, it does nothing towards a smoother flight. I never noticed the metal one. Silly me!
  7. What a knowlegable man, Nev possibly also adjusted the side-valves tappets beacause I know he's not real keen on those hydraulic lifter thingies
  8. I recon Marty could use a few of those to complete his Zenith build, but not all of them, or it would never leave the ground.
  9. I have an Elvis wig and sunglasses if you want to borrow them next time spacey. You'll look real cool!
  10. It never ceases to amaze me when I hear of these instances, that all the injured passengers were not wearing a seat belt. WTF is wrong with people? It can happen at any time unexpectedly. Are we really supposed to feel sorry for their ignorance, Not me i'm afraid! Hope some learn something from their experience.
  11. So it's not true about flight attendants?
  12. We can only hope and pray for a good outcome. Looks like it could have been a brand new rig.
