  1. i did say that everyone should pay $10 on top earlier for site maintanence costs. so I will be doing that for sure
  2. ok thanks for that Ian. i just had my rates taken out yesterday so i will purchase one on thursday.
  3. so what was the total finalised price? i went to the purchase bit and it asks you to enter a price. im at perth WA so whats the price with shipping?
  4. you will have to get the american shop to quote you a price. because they bank they use may have fees and charges or not give the rate it should
  5. me personally i would be happy and willing to pay the $599 plus the postage plus $10 to clear prop for working this out. if 20 people do that its $200. thats just my thoughts on this matter though. Jay
  6. likewise for me. if anyone is in a hurry to get one they can take my place. im not going to be needing one for at least 6 months but would be good to get one
  7. 3- Jay Mceoy (depending on final price)
  8. music is music plain and simple. but the sound of a nice engine cant be described as music or "enviromental stress"(lol) but as sure pleasure. my mate who i work with is colour brind and tone deaf but somehow he can tell you what bike is revving its t*ts off. and he thinks its heaven.
  9. was no one taught to look before walking? i mean yes petrol and diesel engines make noise lol but i was taught to look right then left and then right again haha :P
  10. hahaha yeah at the moment about 5 mates have said they cant wait but i agree it will be another story when it comes to them actually doing it lol
  11. hahaha good work. i know what you mean all of my mates constantly ask how its going and what im doing its great fun lol
  12. oh LAW!!! your crazy hahhaa. good luck with finding a good balance I waited until i had passed all me electrical licensing and tests before i started flying lol. but then again i despise studying at tests lol
  13. hahah signs dont always work lol. my purcahses are sitting about 250 over 2 years but i buy stuff for mates that dont have the net or cant be bothered signing up. hahahhaha i like the idea of your sign. but flying is far to addictive lol
  14. hahah i actually ban myself from using ebay. i put a sign on my laptop no ebay till such a date. my brother is the worst. over 3000 purchases in his first 14 months. his reply was they were all really cheap
  15. ah yes good point. i remember reading that there quite shockingly small. im always interested in little programs like this so i would still love to see one anyway.
  16. hahaha not all of them totall useful lol. anything thats shiny should be bought didnt you know that????
  17. just a thought as i dont have one just yet. but cant the E6B flight computer do all of those calculations???
  18. hahahhahhaa Dark i already have a list written. so i know in one purchase i wont be saving anything. Jay
  19. great work ian. once you have all your t's dotted and i's crossed let us know because i will hopefully be ordering a set to add to my collection along with some other bits and pieces. cheers Jay
  20. yeah im very interested to ian. I just bought a cheap pair from altronics to get me by but will definitely be looking into the zulu's. great spot thought Dark :)
  21. yeah thats what i was referring to. the original iphone didnt work on 850 that was what i was thinking of. Telstra also sell blue tick phones which are recommended by them for rural usage. whirlpool has a massive thread on this subject both phones and internet
  22. different types of phones will make a big difference on any network. For Telstra use you want a phone that can transmit on 850 or 900. iphone works on 900 i am pretty sure so it is good but not the best on telstra
  23. why not enquire what clear prop can provide. If they can buy them with a trade name and ABN number they might be able to get them a bit cheaper for just a one off group buy.
  24. when chewing gum start to chew slightly harder on descending. luckily i have never had this problem but was told that chewing gum will help dramatically. chew harder when descending and make sure your constantly swallowing. it relieves pressure from the build up in the eustachian tube Jay
