  6. Doug, The way I understand it, it doesn`t matter whether you renew your subscription or not, the cost of the mag won`t be taken out of your RA-Aus membership fee, so, in fact you are paying for it, regardless...If, on the other hand, you do want a paper edition, you will have to pay for it, on top of your membership fee.Frank,

Ps, Someone please correct me if I`ve got it wrong.

Yes I be leave that's the way it is Frank , just I don't think it's worth me worrying too much about it as the reading stuff not of any interest to my type of flying anymore !

  7. Have too agree the mag has lost it way your lucky too find any ultralight craft information, some one looking for information on these types of craft are lost which is where the AUF started .

So I will not be renewing my superscription nor will i be downloading the web link ..

  8. Anyone of us could have bought a LP aircraft if we wanted too, I and many others chose to buy what suited us, I had LP as in a trike for 8 years and wanted a change, since when has freedom of choice been a crime? we all have the freedom to do as we please.Everything goes up in price just have a look at the median house prices in this country, wages, food, bills, ect ,everything goes up, aviation has never been cheap but RAA gives us the opportunity if we choose so to have low end GA performance for a fraction of the cost, guess I better go and get rid of my later model cars and get an EH because I was born in that era then.

If ya had a ford XW GT 351 you could sell and have a really nice plane. But if I had a GT don't think I sell her

  9. but in that day didn't pilot rely on ground crew to do all the ground prep as they would be ready in case of a raid ?in movies you would see all the pilots sitting around all play criket then the air raid siren would go of no time for preflight up and atthem ....

maybe I watch too many movies .........
