  1. My rudder cables to my pedals have a Bush sc134 ??? Does any one have dimensions of this Bush. The photo in manual could not be more out of focus. It also has no mention of bolt size. Any help would be great. Lyndon Ps I know its wrong the way I have it
  2. I have fitted the pedals and I'm very happy with the outcome. Keeping in mind I don't have a rudder yet ???. I can push the pedals in a either direction far to far. I would have thought a stop would be on the front wheel. I'm hoping there is a stop on the rudder and cables will be my stop left to right ??? Lyndon
  3. Pedal positions. The pedals are positioned as per the adjustment on the steering arms. Any thoughts on where they should be for you who have been there done that. They seem to be pretty much at 90 degrees to the floor with the arms pretty much bottomed out. I'm fairly tall so I can make them further away a bit. Lyndon
  4. Thanks for that. I have all the fittings except for my carbs and fuel pump as I got a used 100 hp. Lyndon
  5. What are you guys using for the carby fuel line outlets by 2. Just an ordinary brass barb with some sealer ???. My Rotax manual lists nothing really. I did read that the fuel lines to the pump is 5/16 and from there it's 1/4 to the carbs. Thoughts ?? Lyndon
  6. Think it's not going in. Well at least for now. Lyndon
  7. Does anyone fit this. Apart from a cigarette lighter slash charger what else goes in it and is it relevant in 2016. Lyndon
  8. You make mention of not getting the hole in the rear correct affects the stick position. The arm has stops and riv nuts ( I can't find what goes in them yet ) which I guess had a bolt and lock nut. You then set the alerons at a said value ( I did find that in the book ) with the bolts on the stopping plates. I would suggest there must be enough adjustment to center the stick and still get your set values. Like setting the toe in on your car and still having you steering wheel centred. I am jumping ahead here as not at this stage Lyndon
  9. It was factory drilled. I didn't do it. Saying that I probably would not have done a much better job. I do know I can't fix it as it will only be worse. Your idea of the sleeve is a good one but. It's a very sloppy joint when the bolt is in anyway so I'm going to fit it up and see how it is. It's only the flap rod. Hopefully will have it fitted in the next few days after some painting and see how she goes. I wonder what the chances are of getting a sleeve that will be the correct size ??? Lyndon
  10. With no lenses
  11. Doesn't make for a nice fit. Mmm. Lyndon
  12. Same guy who welded my torque tube drilled this hole.
  13. On my torque tube fitting on the rear cabin area where the reo plate is fitted with the nylon Bush ???. In this place I found another reo angle in my kit that is not listed in my manual. Clearly an upgrade during manufacturing. Keeping in mind mine is an early planes about 2008 or 9 i believe. I do see on some buiks that in this area two angular pieces are on each side of the torque tube and run forward the rear of the cabin. I dont have these and guess it's a later upgrade. This area does have flex and would benefit from some further reinforcement. Any light that can be shed on this would be great. Lyndon
  14. Thanks. I'm sure it will be fine.Lyndon
  15. Lots I presume. Just being anal as it does control the plane . Lyndon
  16. Neat as
  17. I had it professionally welded. It's chrome molybdenum.. the welder thinks if its reasonable amount of load goes thru it it should be replaced. Because it's not as good as using new steel. Eg it has nicks. Grinding marks etc. I'm new to this ??? Has anyone had experience success or not welding and repairs on chrome molybdenum. I'm thinking not huge amount of load is transmitted thru it. Lyndon
  18. I have cut and moved the end straight. I would be interested to know if anyone else has had a issues with it being to close to the seat once fitted. Lyndon
  19. I'm sure it would. Specs are specs. That filter fits a Rotax a Briggs and Stratton and a Kawasaki and about one hundred more engines. I'm not using a Briggs and Stratton filter. But a balwin filter that fits a Briggs and Stratton. It's not from repco but from one of the biggest filter suppliers in Australia .
  20. It's even not right on the horizontal. I know a good welder. He can grind it and fix it
  21. The end has been welded on incorrectly from what I can see. As the elevator arm lines up perfect with the front part.
  22. My torque tube is binding and has a woof in it. Now I have to straighten it ??? Lyndon
  23. My dry run.
  24. Thanks for your input. I'm happy to do that as long as the parts I have go there and not somewhere important. I would rather ask a stupid question than make a stupid mistake. Lyndon
  25. Yes I know what they are for in a general sense. But before I go drilling holes I would like to know where they go. My manual has no chapter on carpet or angles that go on top of it. A pic of some ones floor or a pic of the extract of the manual would be most helpful. Lyndon
