  1. Bushes. I have three left and one right. Anyone know of an alternative. If I drill it it won't be right. ???
  2. Thanks
  3. Amazing. I still can't find this part anywhere in my manual or parts list. But it's an easy installation. Thanks Lyndon
  4. Will have a look. I hope I don't have to pull my plane apart to fit it. Thanks Lyndon
  5. Part WTF. I'm sure it goes somewhere but I can't find it in my manual. Sf024. Any ideas ??? Got to go somewhere in the control stick I'm sure Lyndon
  6. Propeller choice. I have spoken to the guys at bolly. They are local to me. Two choices, a cheaper heavier prop for about 1250 or a lighter one for about 1750. I have zero experience with props but things that turn it's always nice to be light ???. I'm at this stage going for the large diameter one. Thoughts from those who have be there and done that. Lyndon
  7. Looks very neat. I have ordered some. Lyndon
  8. Great will do that. Lyndon
  9. And your happy with the outcome. Lyndon
  10. the lower coolant hoses very close to the exhaust. Which is the way to go. Heat shield the hoses with sleeves or wrap the exhaust pipes. Any experience of what works best ??? Lyndon
  11. Great thanks a lot. Lyndon
  12. Thanks for that. Lock or plain washers ??. Lyndon
  13. Engine mount questions. I bought this Engine used and it came with a bracket mounted to the engine and then that screwed to the box. Eg they just put my used engine in the box the replacement engine came in. I have no info 're torque values or what bolts to use or washers or loctite etc. It came with four black set screws that look like what is used from pics I see in my manual. Any info would be great. Thanks Lyndon
  14. Yes I do. Makes sense. Engine is in. Feel like I'm making progress
  15. Thanks. Lyndon
  16. My manual says to wire the nut on the front wheel axle. ??? Is that necessary as it has a nyloc on it ??? Lyndon
  17. Thanks. I got marine fuel line from Reg. It looks like this maybe fire resistant from what they say on the net ??? Lyndon
  18. I see some wanky blue fuel line in some of the threads. I do like it in the engine bay. Where does one get this stuff. Lyndon
  19. My friction block is way to small in diameter. Has anyone else found this. I'm not wanting to rush in and enlarge it ??? Lyndon
  20. Thanks. Yep I have left the bottom angulars free of rivets on the end. Will fit counter sunk. My frame is sprung and the top is at least 30 mm away from the fire wall. Within reason the cabin and engine mount seem to mount on the top firewall where they like give or 10 mm. Be nice if this was pre drilled. I will have a go at it. Probably easier than it looks when I actually do it. Thanks Lyndon
  21. Yep the brackets under on the bottom. Holes line up in the pad ???. Is this the top center. Thanks Lyndon
  22. Engine mount. I'm about to fit it. Any tips on this. It's all a bit flexible as is the cabin frame that it mates to on the top. The manual says nothing about location in any detail ???. So is just a matter of fitting where it seems nice or is there a specific point where it needs to go. On the top of my fire wall I two little holes that seem to do nothing in the center ?? From what I can see these have nothing to with it or am wrong. Any guidance would be great. Thanks Lyndon
  23. Like then asap as I want to get my plane off the bench onto it's wheels. It looks like I need a lot and there is not enough in the kit. The bench is taking up to much room and needs to go. I will call first thing Monday and they can overnight them. Thanks Lyndon
  24. Anyone know where I can get some of these an03-5 bolts in Adelaide. Postage is very high on the net for a few dollars worth of bolts. Lyndon
  25. Is it a good idea to fit the control assembly at this stage before I get it on its wheels. I see there is some fuel stuff in here as well. I have it on its side so I can paint the underside so it's easy to access at the moment or is ok to do when it's on the wheels. Thanks Lyndon
