Could be waiting on autopsy report etc

Yes be very cautious Bernie!! But just between you and me, how did you know she still fit her uniform.........

I don't think it matters if it's a sleek fast machine or a slow draggy one, if it hits the ground in a manner it's not designed for then theres every chance the outcome will not be good. At this stage not much is known except the type of plane and the pilot. Let's just wait and see what an investigation reveals and in the mean time consider ourselves fortunate that we are still alive to enjoy flying. To the family and friends left behind , be sure to know that our thoughts are with you, and that he will no doubt be sorely missed.

Could you imagine getting a "plumbers crack" in the main spas. It could lead to a massive failure. Also if you try and "faucet" into an unnatural attitude it could possibly drain away much needed speed, causing it to sink. May as well throw in the towel now!!

Nope!! You can wear a headset if you like

Has anyone come across news of Loehle Aircraft shutting down? If read somewhere that Sandy Loehle passed away and don't get anywhere with the web page
-
By the way, the pilot wasn't " Batholemew" by any chance? If it is he'll just keep plugging along until the system is drained. I hope that if he makes a business out of this it doesn't go down the gurgler

The puns and witty comments are just amazing. Love the humor in the forums. It's a great way to best someone and still be humorous whilst doing it.

You wouldn't want to fly through any rain showers in that thing

That would have been a draining experience.

Well aware of the context of your post and was just trying to take the mickey out of you. But seriously, are you looking at a "flying flea " design using the same/similar components as your gull wing and high wing kits? -
Because the attitude is a bit on the flat side, you have to watch out that you don't wheelbarrow the landing. Have done that and it gives the undercarriage legs a bit of a hammering

Thinking of you and your family. Chin up and think on the time you've had with your family and enjoy the time that's left. Cheers..... Pete -

Yes, there are some things that definitely slow us down or stop us altogether, but as we've seen by your posts you and your wife definitely have the ability to come through on top of things. My condolences to your family, especially your wife. Tell her that all of us here wish her well . -
