  5. Tomo, I have a rc aerochute and it is available on ebay. It's called a skychute. Cheap and nasty but flies real well. If you search on ebay for it and look at the pics it should help you out. If not let me know and I will take a few pics for you. Cheers
  6. BLACK TESTICLES A male patient is lying in bed in the hospital, wearing an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose. A young, student nurse appears to give him a partial sponge bath. Nurse', he mumbles, from behind the mask. 'Are my testicles black?' Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, 'I don't know, Sir. I'm only here to wash your upper body and feet.' He struggles to ask again, 'Nurse, please check. Are my testicles black?' Concerned that he may elevate his blood pressure and heart rate from worry about his testicles, she overcomes her embarrassment and pulls back the covers. She raises his gown, holds his manhood in one hand and his testicles in the other. Then, she takes a close look and says, There's nothing wrong with them, Sir!' The man pulls off his oxygen mask, smiles at her and says very slowly, 'Thank you very much. That was wonderful, but, listen very, very closely...... A r e - m y - t e s t - r e s u l t s - b a c k?

    Debra

Debra, :welcome:I have joined these forums since your sad loss but have been lucky enough to read over George's posts and had a great time doing so. All the best for learning to fly.
  8. isn't that what they say in the movies just before the BOOM???
  9. That vid is priceless, you can just imagine it being played as background music at a Tasmania Tourisim Convention LOL
  10. I agree in parts with the above as the manual does say for it to be done bt to think you can't start it by hand to trigger the magnetos? I thought that Rotax engines had ignitions similiar to a motorbike and to trust the fact they wouldn't start by hand is a sure way to amputatate some extra limbs. I think the rule is ignition off and treat all props as live by turning them so if you slip you fall away from the prop arc.
  11. No probs Tomo, I only had it emailed to me like a 1000 times so if you would like a copy for yourself I would be happy to pass it on if it helps with the withdrawl symtoms lol:laugh:
  12. Tony, Thanks for the reply, I now have the answers to which I was asking, thanks also Dunlop. I appreciate everyones imput as this thread has remained the way I intended it. Factual with no Bias. I think this thread just goes to show the difference between us and the other forums in that we can all discuss somthing like adults. Well done all.
  13. Dunlop, Thanks for your post, you answered alot of my questions at once. I just hate seeing someones name used in the ridiculous ways it has in that other forum. Yes he was different, yes he pushed the boundries and yes alot of people didn't necesarily agree with his actions (myself included in some ways) but the fact still remains he had alot of excellent flying history and skill and that should be equally remembered. I am in no way defending him or bagging him I just know there is a course that needs to be followed and by the other forums I have seen it would be sad day to see peoples comments ruin any chance of justice running its course. Remember innocent untill proven guilty. Thanks again
  14. He sure was memorable, some of the most vivid memories of flying from when I was growing up envolves him. regardless of recent advents the guy had a huge amount of talent and showmanship.
  15. Hi all, No offense intended but I have removed the Stunt plane looses wing video. From what I could see by the replys everyone was over it and it had been posted in about 7 other threads. If anyone has any issues with me doing this please PM me and I will have it put back on. Cheers
  16. Do you know or know of anyone who has one of these in Australia?
  17. HPD, I am not trying to defame or lay blame on anyone. I am just sick of the rubbish being posted elsewhere and I believe some facts will do less harm. If it's unappropriate I have no issue with this thread being removed, I started it with no malice intended.
  18. If a video is doctored in any modern software it is nearly impossible to pick it up with Adobe. Also if the whole video is made up then there is no fault to find. But the clincher is that landing, mate I have watched enless hours of videos watching aerobatic planes flying and landing and the only time I sore a landing like the one in the video was my first flight with my rc extra which had a severe C of G issue:laugh:. Anyone who believes this dideo all i can say is "come in spinner"
  19. Hi all, I wanted to start this thread in the hope of making sense of all the crap that is surfacing from the sad loss of Barry Hempel. Now as we know Barry was a rebel and alot of people say it was only a matter of time but I believe that regardless of that two people have lost their life. I did a google search tonight and followed a link to another forum and lets just say I am glad I am a member here, what a load of rubbish it was and a waste of space on the net!!!!! So I would like to ask a few honest questions and see what others think, please lets just keep this thread free of bias and nasties as it is a recent advent and I am sure friends and family could see this. Question, Where does the ultimate responsibilty in a flying school fall to make sure that rules are followed. The CFI or the owner. What now happens to all the students who have pre paid for their PPL or CPL do they have any come back to get their money. Now that the dust has settled has there been any indication on what happened (facts only) If the responsibilty at following the rules falls on the owner do the family of the passenger have any legal grounds to take action against the estate. What actions can CASA make if the school shuts as it has. I would apprecite anyones input here as it would be good to see a constructive discussion on this topic instead of the ill mannered and unthoughtfull crap that I have seen elsewhere.
  20. I scored 67% DOH!!!
  21. Isn't that the lesson on stalls MM lol;)
  22. From what I have tried to work out, you have one large servo mounted on the back vertical post connected to the wing so it pushes and pulls pitching the wing up and down. Then another on the front side of the post connected through a double horn so it tilts the wing side to side. This could also be done by a high speed sail winch servo. By doing that you can get rid of the rear rudder and just use a small servo to steer the front wheel whilst on the ground.
  23. Jusrt had a look at that site looks awesome I might look at getting it.
  24. Dam Awesome I want one --- LINK
