It is recognised throughout the aviation world, that today being the 20/6/2014 in the southern hemisphere, that this is the shortest day of the year. It is also known as "MOTHERINLAW DAY', that is because it is the one day throughout the year that us good people visit our tolerant loving motherinlaw.016_ecstatic.gif.156a811a440b493b0c2bea54e43be5cc.gif

The shortest day of the year occurs between the 20th and the 22nd depending on what year...southern hemisphere is 20th or 21st and northern hemisphere is 21st or 22nd. The average of the 21st is used as the shortest day around the world in both hemisphers. I know this why...because it is my birthday 026_cheers.gif.2a721e51b64009ae39ad1a09d8bf764e.gif 027_buddies.gif.22de48aac5a25c8f7b0f586db41ef93a.gif...my mother in law is in New Zealand far enough away to satisfy me and close enough to be able to just send the wife away for a few
