spacesailor
"Don't go there. Stick to a simple 2 blade with no hinges or gimmicks like the majority of engines have always had. " They tell me that the "scimitar" prop changes it's pitch slightly, SO That's the next on my chopping block for the HummelBird. Only cost $60 or so in materials for the 37 inch HB prop. spacesailor
Yenn
What do you build a prop from. I know most people use a laminated block, but I have seen a prop built from a special plywood, that had most of its plies running the span of the prop and a lesser number running across the props width.
