Unemployed again + free commercial flights

Recommended Posts

Today is my last day here in Sydney, actually it is tomorrow (Fri 3rd Aug) but I have eyes issue, getting laser in my good eye so the fluid can get back into it and have a detached retina in my bad eye so tomorrow seeing the specialist to do the laser and another one about the detached retina. So leaving Sydney to go back home and join the ranks of unemplyed again but hoping it won't be too long to get my next contract...if you know of any in the PMO space please let me know.

Unfortunately I was expecting an extension so I have flights booked and paid for Melb to Syd every Monday and Sydney to Melb every Friday till the first week of Sept, plus a Syd to Melb this Tuesday. Rather than let them go to waste if anyone wants any of them I can check in to them now and pass the boarding pass on to you...each one has a row 1 seat with extra leg room. Any donations though are gratefully accepted

Sounds like a good way for a Sydneyite to get away for a dirty weekend in Melbourne, but I'd hate to book activities for the weekend to have them delayed or cancelled at the boarding gate.037_yikes.gif.f44636559f7f2c4c52637b7ff2322907.gif

Maybe we need a news thread, something along the lines of JetStar efficiency now elevated to 12% as Ian's not flying with them.

You bloody Cruel Bugger Planey !

Ian,. . I dunno what you do to earn your Regular daily bread, ( In between operating these two sites for the enjoyment of others. . .. ) but whatever it is, Get well soon mate.

I was thinking JetStar must have had it in for the poor fellah, but then I remembered that they stuffed me up big time on 3 out of 4 trips with them, so now I wouldn't touch them with a 10ft barge pole.

In my view they are a total disgrace, which reflects badly on the good name of Qantas.

Tigerair used to be Australia's worst airline, but since being bought by Virgin, they have really turned things around, and for a discount airline I have found their service quite acceptable on numerous occasions.
