Camouflaged game camera? These are triggered by movement and can be set to still or video. Will work for up to a year and data is stored on a card. Depends what you mean by low cost, these may be a few hundred dollars. But they can be set off by branches waving in the wind.

What sort of illegal activity? If your worried about your aircraft then maybe a trail camera triggered for movement or a security system. Is this to get landing fees? Are you a council member or law enforcement? Is there lots of after hours illegal activity?

From its location it could be used for smuggling. It's 1000 kms from Timor East. However, there would have to be some sort of community coverup if smugglers were coming into a small Aboriginal community that is Milingimbi.

hi all

there is an operator using the guise of a legit govt agency  who has been suspectedof grog & drug running they seem to have the community on side (ready supply antedotal evidence )  police etc have been made aware& on the case . concerned agencies want to build a case without showing their hand  at this point  for the relevant authorities to then prosecute

just a thought would some sort ofADS-B receiver  & an APP to log activity for later review ?
