Think you mean #16 ?. The 'bent back bird' or more commonly called the 'pig', snort, snort !. Actually a one-of built in Ingham, and called the Voodoo. It has an O-320 with a 4 blade Warp drive. Built as a trainer where the instructor has the same viz as the student, in the front. Actually works, and quite a handy little aeroplane, and flys a bit like a Lightwing. Top of the engine cowl is level in flight which is the reference from the front seat. Also has a small moveable cunard surface just fwd of the wing struts which assists in super STOL performance.

I knoooooooow, I kinda want one. Although gullwing doors seem less practical in a car, I always wonder about clearance issues in tight carparks...

BTW, do you know how much a Lightwing Speed is?

There's one on the RAA site for $129,500, factory built 225hr, Fagawi navigation (presume that's as in "Where the Fugawi?"), adjustable prop, auto pilot, GPS. 115kt cruise @20L/hr.

Oh drat, my expensive taste in cars seems to also apply to aeroplanes 006_laugh.gif.0f7b82c13a0ec29502c5fb56c616f069.gif

Fugawi is a programe linked to touch screen on which you can load all charts (vnc,vtc,wac,pca,erc-l etc) and GPS location marks position on chart which scrolls as one moves. Can be set to automaticly change between wac's as boundary crossed, or select larger/smaller chart as you cross boundaries(wac-vnc-vtc or reverse)...nice to have.

Lightwing Speed 2000 costs around $125,000 with 912 basic. Talk to Howie at Lightwing. The one in RAA mag is mine and is a long way from basic...only real option not in it is a co-pilot to suit the desires of pilot! As the saying goes, everthing (price) is negotable!

Bryon, Training her to drive to that bottle shop took a lot of time. Now I just have to get her to obey the speed limits, it's costing me a fortune in tickets !!...............................008_roflmao.gif.692a1fa1bc264885482c2a384583e343.gif
