  1. Aircraft now owned and based at Turtle Park since before December 2023.
  2. I came across these images tonight. The alloy and red one is the Teenie Two Bob built and its first flight at McMaster Field west of Rockhampton (my glider back then is in the background); it was the second he built the first he made in Canada. The other if its a Teenie was at Ingham, Qld. RAA search shows Bob 19-7319 is still in current rego so must be flying somewhere.
  3. Thanks for info. I had been leaning to maybe a tightening of the turn; however was not there and should never guess. Appreciate the info. Best Regards and condolences to families and all involved.
  4. Which post reads correct, this is yesterdays; being happy with the landings? "i did 3 good landings before he called me in. i wanted to keep going". All good, just a little confused. Cheers and enjoy next solo.
  5. Looks like you got yourself a job🙂

  9. Mavrick and Ice Man may not get it but 'Flick Man' will shoot it down in a flash
  10. Agree; maybe should have briefed the share holders. The in action is sadly not a surprise these days or back then.
  11. Skip this link will answer your question and any others you may have. Diesel Fuel Centrifuge | Sludge & Water Separator (dolphincentrifuge.com) One I used was to clean the diesel in our onboard fuel tanks so the day tank (engine [two main at 3,000kw and two Gen sets] feed tank) fuel was suitable.
  12. And a bugger to pull apart and clean; including putting back together correctly.
  13. Do they have the ones that have optional bolts?
  14. Yes, you can use the one skyecho2 in a number of aircraft. Just switch the internal details to the respective aircraft you are flying. Do you have. SE2 in your present aircraft?
  15. It worked correct for me, opened Skyranger page. I'm going to try and contact the owner of Nynja in my image to ask his info re fitting the VG's as I'm keen to try them. Cheers.
  16. The skydive aircraft up this way go to 14,300 ft
  17. Hi JG I see some vg's fitted to a Skyranger Nynja. Do you have any performance details for the model. Cheers
  18. I've been dressing my split pins wrong all these years; I'll never get a job at Boing. (Yep 'e' left out on purpose.) May need some loctite?
  19. Be good to hear more info as the loose bolts in some instance could still be considered satisfactory secured.
  20. The plug doors I have used on Cessnas are fitted from inside. I would remove when in the drop zone so rafts and food packs etc could be pushed out to drop to stricken vessels etc. They are safer as long as not dropped out the opening although they had wires attached to prevent such.
  21. reporting 100m short; great effort as no option ahead as only water there.
  22. Yep read that; seeking additional experiences from those who were there in 2023.
