  5. Hi All semi retired boilermaker ,ran my own workshop for 25 years ,when GFC hit 2 years ago i thought ,why am i doing this so closed up shop and sold all my equip, then sold the acreage and now live in the burbs new house new life! i got very bored so i now have 4 or 5 clients and only work 2 or 3 days fly to perth adelaide, melboune sydney supervising the jobs which gives me plenty of time for learning how to fly, with a friend who is also learning to fly (he is 10 lessons in front) we are looking at jabiru, morgan, as a first plane to buy cheers Gareth

  7. */Hi JimG i agree the comments about apprentices if we as employers dont let them do the job they will never know how on thier own that being said if a an instructor isnt good with student pilots it would be hard to get the message across ie to stressful (especially older students )and could possibly put them off, i have a new instructor and i learn much quicker than with the last one (not regressing at all) good luck with your instructing as you say its not about the money(instructing seems to be poorly paid)you have to have a passion . Bye the way if i lived closer i would get some instruction cheers Gareth
