  1. How many forum users have met each other at some time? So far i have met 3 ,Bacon,Compulsion,and a guy called colin (building a cheetah) met John (compulsion) in adelaide had a beer and chat its good to put a face to the many users on the forum. cheers gareth
  2. Hi Bruce are the tanks poly?,we did make a alum tank for our front fuse ,but changed it for the same tank as yours ,this allowed us space for the canopy actuator to be installed good progress on your build Cheers gareth

  6. for all you weight concious people we added 1.7 kilos for the actuator and mechanism all aluminium wew have a video of the canopy opening but i cant seem to load it ,anyhelp ? cheers gareth

  10. my wife had TIF with Garry Morgan and came back with a big smile on her face ,she thought that light aircraft were to bumpy ! she now wants to do a "wife of pilot course " to better understand LSA but insists that i fly for at least 12 months before she will go up with me ,ah well only 14 months to goLOL

Hi Kevin Thanks ,yes the conduit over the tank is for electrical wiring, dual throttles engine probes heat probes,remote brake master cylinder etc and any other things we may put in . how is the wing build coming?any problem in the building of these? we should start our wings after we fit the canopy (next week pick up) our canopy is tinted and wider than normal i just hope that we get it right first time!! any way cheers for now Gareth
  12. LOL ha ha yellow safety rails slide out, long tynes on fork lift, table as well as airplane will be lifted down .work space is utilising space above our heads we pay for it so built the mezz to work on , it will come in handy for storage later on Cheers Gareth

Skinning Finished ! hi all Craig and I have finished the fusalage skinning , elavators went on today perfect angles and degrees (must say the elavators are a bit tricky to skin ) all final riveting is finished access hatch below mass balance arm is in place and we can access all the bolts in the tail area below is a few pics Cheers Gareth
  14. hi i have battled for 25 years but have cut out bread'butter'cheese 'suger and am finally losing the weight 10 kilos so far my goal is 95 kilos and if i get there before the morgan is finished i will try for 90 kilos i am 5ft 8 inches 64 old and my wife is very happy that this flying has motivated me , Ome keep at it you will get there cheers Gareth

  16. Hi Tomo good to see you have your own plane ,how many planes have you flown in your short life !! have fun and safe flying (when the Morgan is flying will have to call in at Cecil Plains on the the way to dalby ) to see my son and grand kids cheers gareth

HI Jami good to hear that you have started your build we spoke to SAA about logs for the build ,we keep a detailed log of hrs and what we did ,lots of pics(not all on the forum ,too many) and get them to inspect the build as you go along, they document it and it helps i think ,come time to register good luck cheers gareth

Hi All more pics of the build progress pic 12 cables in conduit elavator,aerial,lights pic 13 angles sika flex to sheet (to take the wobble out) pic 14 cables cover top hat pic 15 bulkhead bracing and seat belt fixing points pic 16 brake & rudder controls frame set up (note the plummer blocks and tension spring adjuster tomorrow we will be sheeting the sides and rear decks cheers Gareth & Craig

THursday today was the day with no cfi with me last week i did 6 solo circuits and when i went in for my lesson signed in got the keys did the walk around and all checks ,before takeoff CFI said ,how do you feel about going on your own, my reply was ,i will defur to you. we did one circuit and on downwind radio he told me to do a full stop,taxied to eastern apron. CFI got out and said,do 6 or seven circuits ,have fun stay safe any pressure that you fee lor if wind picks up or to much traffic come back in> What a feeling ,its up to me I AM IN CONTROL ,all went well ,i flew as if he was there ,but there is less pressure THis flying is AWSOME Cheers Gareth
