Hi Eightyknots craig and i decided on a Morgan Sierra .we started our build on Good Friday so far we have the fusilarge complete and corrosion powdercoated and have skinned the bottom turn over tomorrow and start to do the cables etc and tail elavators and rudder ,we decided on the sierra because of it flying capabilities and the look good lines we are also putting the Jab 330 engine in cheers gareth
  6. Just going off the drawing it says 5 degrees but will set at 7 and see what it looks like cheers gareth
  7. Hi Kevin have set at 5degrees as per drawings but will fix plumb and exact 5 degrees know that it is turned over ,we will be temp fixing airframe to table for stability of any fixing off that we do ,+ we will be using laser levelling and plumb ,thanks for the input cheers Gareth

  11. :clap:well , the kit build is on the go ,craig and i startedat 7.30 am today and finished at 3.30 pm the frame is 90% finished a few more struts to go then we will turn it over .will post pics as we go cheers all that are interested

Hi Matt I dont know about insparation but here goes ,im a newbie to flying and my next lesson is solo! the flying bug started for me at 63 , and with a friend we are going to build our own plane, the time to get a licence (ppl i my case) will take as long as it takes , to old for me doesnt cut it and as for being st#@*d well your being hard on yourself,flying is going to open a new world for me and its abig sky! lots of interesting people on this forum ,some funny guys,lots of advice , technical,experience, etc Matt keep at it,4 weeks ago i had the inconsistent doldrums, it finally came together this week! , scoped out the plane we are building and gave me a new lease also talking to other guy(and gals) the age seems to be 50+anyway, good luck and keep at it cheers Gareth
