Niel You are right on the money , many years ago i took on the National Parks and wildlife , got to court with my solicitor ,won the case on one level but i ended up paying the costs my solicitor said ,i quote If you are looking for justice there isnt there is only the LAW they had 2 colicitors ,1 barrister and woudnt let my witness read from his day book(he was a seargent in the POLICE) said what he had written was hearsay ,there is 1 law for the rich and all others can struggle cheers Gareth

Hi All here are some more pics of the build the first 2 are the mock up of the dash , then the elavators, elavator control brkt, final glass dash,glass bulkhead , control stick and flap actuator nut serted in,and the luggage compartment with the rudder cables and elavator cable run through Gareth $ Craig

  5. in my early lessons it was reinforced at every start and when we landed, now it is part of the regimen that i do when i go flying CFI can be cross if you forget ,so for me it will be for any aircraft that i may get to fly in Cheers gareth:thumb up:

Hi alan ,Tomo ,Doug and all the others on the forum thanks for the encouragement,Craig (viper in forum ) who is building the Morgan has on Friday got his GFPT so 2 milestones this week and yes cant wait for the first flight in the Sierra ,currently waiting for SAA to do an inspection the we will start the final skinning, and all you guys are right , this flying is the start of a new chapter ,a new lease on life ,just 2,3, maybe 4 months and and licence in hand and Morgan ready we will be above and beyond !!!   9. well, today after 6 perfect landings CFI said,pull over by the fuel terminal he then got out and said, you are on your own for this one do what you normally do and pick me up after you have landed . What a buzz i was actually by my self in control it all went good on final tower changed runway to 10 left,threw a wobbly at me but all good landed perfect i am still on a high cheers gareth
  10. Hi all the post of the rake of the rudder ie 5degrees as per the drawing ,we rang Garry and he indicated up to 12 o we sttled for 10o cheers gareth

Hi Kevin the fuel tank is the same shape as the fibre glass one, what you see is aluminium bulkhead around tank area, cut folded and riveted in pos then sealed up in ternally ,this (in theory) should if tank is punctured in the event of damage ,will not allow fuel into cockpit,(fire in cockpit alarms me) fuel sender will be into sump as per normal cheers Gareth

Hi Ian I was not aware that you had these type of parts that we require ie brake master cylinders, 6' brake assemblies, flush alum fuel caps, strobe lights (low type),landing lights, brake pedals (alum), the list will go on as we get further into the build gauges (we have opted for MGL) dual throttles etc etc I will pm you with a list , and will support you (and this SITE) cheers gareth
  14. Hi All tahnks for input ,all i am trying to buy are an bolts 1/4, 3/16,5/32 strobes that are not overpriced ,brake parts(pedals) fuel caps(3) etc etc there must be someone in aus that can supply ,do we really have to send our money os cheers gareth:angry:

Hi All does anyone have a list of Parts Distributors in brisbane gold coast etc that i can purchase Easily trying to get parts people off the net is frustrating all seem to be usa and the freight costs are nearly as much as the parts !!! rang a guy that is Spruce rep here and he NEVER gets back to you (doesent he want the business) any help appreciated Cheers gareth

Hi Jamie yes we built a 95 litre full alum tank temp installed untill we get the fuel sender and flow valves then we will install and final skin off ,the tank will be coming out tomorrow so that we can seal off the area that tanks it sits in as a fire guard ,we will be making a mock up dash tomorrow (our cockpit is 180mm wider than normal so the dash supplied is to small) then we will make a plug for the fibre glassing also set the brakes and rudder pedals in place ,we are also getting the rudder control cables made up to fit ,we have the elavator glass spars ready for fitting and alignment will take a few more pics tomorrow cheers gareth

Hi Eightyknots craig and i decided on a Morgan Sierra .we started our build on Good Friday so far we have the fusilarge complete and corrosion powdercoated and have skinned the bottom turn over tomorrow and start to do the cables etc and tail elavators and rudder ,we decided on the sierra because of it flying capabilities and the look good lines we are also putting the Jab 330 engine in cheers gareth
