  1. Would make sense to put it on the outside surely for air flow
  2. I'm mounting the four plates that reinforces the cowling mounts. The manual is just mumbo jumbo. I use the black rivets but where and why. Then it says use soft rivets but does not make sense where or why. Lyndon
  3. No worries. Makes sense. Main concern is its clecoed up and some holes that I'm not using yet do over lap a bit. It's one of the very few bits that once are are joined you really can't get it wrong. I'm presuming they just weren't stamped quite perfect. Lyndon
  4. Is that aimed at me or Dennis
  5. No worries. I will go ahead with this riveting. I would rather wait a day than drill em out . Thanks Lyndon
  6. Firewall issues. I'm not happy to rivet it up yet in case I have wrong. I don't believe I have but ???. Am I missing something. Quite a few don't line up. Also I take the bottom engine mounts have to be drilled at some stage as there is no corresponding holes in the sheet and the fire wall.
  7. And blanked off holes
  8. Firewall holes not quite right. It's together but the holes don't quite line up. Any tips. Lyndon
  9. All sorted. Looks better on the inside. Will rivet it up today. Thanks for all the input. Lyndon
  10. Apparently the floor can be on the top or bottom. Makes no difference. But aesthetically looks better on top. Lyndon
  11. The pics I have are from Reg. Thus the floor on the bottom. Thus the way its been put together. ??? The manual is not clear. So maybe that is where the confusion is. Just because a build is a particular way doesn't mean it is correct. I'm new to this so I have no idea. I can see pros and cons with the floor on the bottom and inside. I will ask Reg to confirm. Thanks Lyndon
  12. Does that refer to the front panels. I did read read that in the manual early in the piece. Once again I'm only going by the video supplied in the kit ??? All very confusing. Lyndon
  13. Before I completely rivet it up some opinions please. Now is the time to get right. Thanks Lyndon
  14. Once again on the outside. ??? Mmmm
  15. As per Reg CD it's on the outside. That's what I went by
  16. I can't open your file.but I I know what you mean . Lyndon
  17. I have the floor on the outside. Bugger. Mmm
  18. About to rivet up the floor. From underneath it will look nice from outside. But under the carpet not so good. Or vice a versa. Is it riveted from inside or outside ??? Thanks Lyndon
  19. All sorted. I had the front landing gear loneron upside down. Yep I'm an idiot but I worked it out before any rivets Lyndon
  20. 2 is below 1. I know this the manual states it. I believe 2 is below 3 as my Reg videos. But where is 1 in relation to 3. The Reg video shows below and above in two builds. Manual tells me nothing. Thanks Lyndon
  21. One shows this
  22. I have Reg s video. Two builds. One shows this
  23. Nothing conclusive bin the manual at all. But in my build video pics I was right first time. It goes on top . Thanks Lyndon
  24. So the way I have it now is correct. The manual generally has diagrams with how brackets and sheets are lined up but with this top bracket the manual is quite unclear. The frame tubes fit perfectly as I have them now. Thanks Lyndon
  25. Or ???
