They are made in Greece by Di who churns them out at a place called Hedra Lower, in the mountain country next to Delphi

The above enlightening post by Turbs inspired your Captain to spend a few days researching Greek aviation successes in detail (a thesis is now being written to add to The Skipper's extensive number of PhDs) and he has only now realised that the Wright brothers were actually Greek .................., who's christian names (they were actually Greek Orthodox names) were Vassillis and Con.

It is also little known that this is the reason why there are so many Greeks (95%) working within CASA, after the collapse of the Victorian taxi industry. As you would all nodoubt know, CASA is a Greek word meaning "Home".

He called for a Vet, and a few minutes later Dr Samatha Shorts walked in (that wasn't her surname but Turbo has forgotten it). "Do you know what a bull is?" questioned the Judge. Thinking it was a trick question, and of course with no idea who Bull was and how much depended on the Decision, she looked across the room straight at Bull, who fainted, and she said ........................."

Samantha had come through; Bull was given a "TURBINE BULL" badge, a bale of hay and a tin of Turbine Lice Killer, and as he gingerly shook off the clamps and stepped down off the podium, he heard the Judge saying "and I hope we don't see you here again Mr Bull.

Unfortunately Mavis met him at the door, and............

Bull was terrified at the gleam in Mavis' eyes, and the way she blocked the door to freedom for him. He stepped back a little, mouth agape, as he considered what he could do.

He could put his head down and just rush Mavis headlong - he could kick up his heels and just race off in another direction, looking for another open gate - or he could bellow his distress and hope........

...... then so did bull, as Mavis was inexperienced (as a pilot [avref]) and as many do, she held the primary control waaaayyy too tight (and with both hands too ........... which is a big compliment to our old mate bull).

bull thought about saying nothing & just going with the flow (which was imminent), but the lack of adequate blood circulation soon forced him to turn to Mavis, look her in the eye and say, with a pained expression, "............

....you really need to ease up on your grip, it's making me wince, and making my eyes water, which is a bad thing for a pilot (avref), as he really needs to be able to see clearly all the time".

At that, Mavis eased up on her grip, and bull was very pleased at the result. It made for a more controllable response. He didn't mind as much at the pressure she gripped the primary controls with - but it was the way she seemed to delight in the differing response, as she eased the pressure on and off, that greatly concerned him.

He would need to address the grip and pressure issue more intensely, once they were back on the ground, but in the meantime a more pressing problem was arising.

Sidenote - Turbo himself knew this ploy and had been sanctioned a number of times for taking 25 minutes, with an unhealthy smile on his dial, to adjust the crutch strap on the harness in his Speedcar.
