Okihara
Here's the next aerodrome. Unfortunately that's my only picture taken when departing downwind. I realise that it may be too hard to guess without additional hint so here are two: 1. CTAF 126.7 (?) 2. WAC 3470

Okihara
Ha! Good strip. In my country airstrip guide Maralinga is noted as "closed". Is it well and truly open then?
BruceScott
Certainly was in June 6 of us in 3 planes flew in there early from Coober Pedy and we had a tour of the atomic test sites and then we went to Nullabor overnight i have photos of the trip on the Deniliquin Aero Club website on the Fly-Aways page https://www.deniliquinaeroclub.com/fly-aways.html Maralinga was an interesting place cheers bruce

GraemeK
OK, I'll take a stab at Ballarat
Okihara
That's it! It is YBLT (Ballarat). A word of caution to those who intend to visit: a regional school has the tendency to carry out straight-in approaches in twins with little regard, if any, to traffic established in the circuit. We joined midfield crosswind, and broadcast 10 nm, upon joining, turning downwind and base but these blokes couldn't care less and still cut straight in front of us. If you do encounter them, just call them out and report them.
pmccarthy
Happened to me there yesterday, they called final from miles out but I turned final and landed well before they arrived.
Student Pilot
Some people think if they call final at 10 miles they have priority, they don't. Those that say "Downwind number 3 to the Kingair on finals and the 172 on base" are wankers as well. Keep calls short, if you say joining downwind the people know where you are. Those on finals and base or anywhere in the circuit know where to look for you. If you have just joined downwind then you are level with the threshold, not 5 miles out going to join downwind. Okihara
That's a genuine photo, taken while overflying at 6500'. Here's one of the town northwest of the aerodrome. The landing strip can still be seen in the lower right corner. PS. It was a hazy day.
