RV12 forced landing

Recommended Posts

I had to read it twice as to whether the engine stopped or he just put it down because the gauge showed no pressure as well......

A mile or two from the field, I think I would have given the strip a shot if it was still running.....

Rotax may not be a proper engine in some peoples opinion, but they do have a large number of engines flying and are affordable, plus their safety record is not bad. In about 20 years flying at my home strip I can only remember one Rotax engine failure.

Correct Yenn

Over 50,000 912 variants world wide isn't a bad effort
