Plus they usually have an old engine with an old prop etc. Our aero club has a fleet of C150s and they are very costly on maintenance and the maintenance hours are a function of their age. But to play devils advocate the little jab they had was always in the fix-it shop too. But that's not always the case. I think that was that particular aircraft.
