red750
As I explained in another thread, I lost my camera at the airshow, not that it had very many photos on it. However, between her videos, my daughter took some photos and here are just a few. The twin engined medium lifter is a Kawasaki C-2 of the Japanese Self Defence Force. kgwilson
The F35 looks like a pregnant guppy compared to the F18. I still think we have been conned with purchase of these at a ridiculous price (which they now say is being reduced). I'd have loved to have seen some of the latest Sukhois but of course we couldn't show something that would run rings around our latest purchase folly. red750
Terrific footage of heavy aircraft arrivals in the above video, pity it didn't include the F-35 or C-27.
spenaroo
the most impressive part of the airshows for me is still watching the C-130 just stop on the runway in practically its own length. never forget seeing that. and at the end showing the countermeasures in the twilight, can see them coming in the distance - flares get fired. and nothing, no freaking clue where they went. despite being so low and close overhead
BackcountryAeropup
I spotted this bloke about to climb into one of the F22 Raptors. Apparently the U.S are down seizing there pilots to help avoid radar detection. ? 2
red750
During the flying display on the Saturday, when I attended, a US C-17 taxied out to perform a handling display but returned from the runway to the parking area. The episode was announced as an "operational problem". A video on Youtube shows the reason for the aborted display - a bird was ingested into the right outboard engine.
