In the planning stage now. Probably Saturday dep.  BUT looking at the map around Brisbane, What a mess of Military and controlled airspace. How the hell does one find a way through that lot.  We're looking at a  route

Tooradin-Wang-Temora-Narromine-Dalby-Caboolture. Over two days weather permitting. Can anyone tell us the best route to negotiate Controlled and Military airspace on the last leg.

It isn’t as bad as it looks! http://aussieadsb.com/airspaces Just take the time to identify what is relevant and the lower altitude of each section of restricted area. Easier on weekends.
This is old but the general explanation may help http://redcliffeaeroclub.com.au/files/AMB12nov15.pdf

Give RAAF a call at your planning stage, they will appreciate it https://www.airservicesaustralia.com/wp-content/uploads/VCA-Hotspot-Amberley-flyer.pdf

I recently flew Melbourne to Watts Bridge and return. That leg was Gunnedah to Watts Bridge, however on quite a few previous trips I have stopped at Moree.

Fairly straightforward from Watts Bridge part of the world to Caboolture however a busy area.

You’ll be fine at a weekend. The RAF never work weekends!

just talk to BN CN 121.2 when you depart Dalby (on the ground if you wish) - let them know your intentions and they will tell if you need to talk to Approach should the area be active. Stay on freq and they’ll guide you right up to Somerset Dam.

Caboolture is something else !

Its oK someone else is transporting the aircraft!

I'm off the hook.

But I had decided to go Via Temora , Narrabri, ( or similar )  Casino then up the coast and along the VFR corridor then  along the Island  VFR corridor turn left to Caboolture.

I've been looking at maps and reckon the legs could be: 1. Edenhope to Deniliquin ( 369km by air )

                                                                                          2. Deniliquin to Narromine (475km)

I would plan to overnight at Narromine

Next day,                                                                           3. Narromine to Moree( 403km)

                                                                                          4. Moree to Caboolture ( 406km)

                                                                                           5. Caboolture to ??? ( less than 100km)

I would like to be able to refuel at Deniliquin  and also Moree.( I already know about Narromine and Caboolture). Both Deniliquin and Moree are there because they are sort of in the right places. I have zero knowledge of either, so I would appreciate any comments/suggestions that you guys out there must know.
