    Long before all this I decided I would not fly on an indian crewed aircraft, not saying it was crew mistakes in this case, but there are just too many instances of poor behaviour and crap CRM in Indian flight crews Maybe my perception is not valid but its my persona position

    That there has been not even a hint of grounding airframes for any checks is at this point telling. Certainly if no such recommendation comes in the next few days then Boeing will be relieved

    Could you explain this comment?, from my understanding a blocked vent would restrict movement of the diaphragm which would reduce flow/pressure to some extent how would this cause a pressure rise? sorry If I'm misreading your comment

    Having moved my Oil cooler to a position that allows its own air intake instead of piggybacked behind the Coolant radiator, I now have the opposite problem of over cooling the oil. cant get max above 80c so will have to blank some of the oil cooler probably use neoprene wrap...not a problem But allong with the low max temps its also taking ages to reach temp before flying so I'm gonna fit a thermostat. (thermostasis unit) Was just wondering do any of you guys fit them?, or are your ambient temps high enough that warm up is hardly ever a concern?

    Theres been a number of flights between interested parties along the persian gulf recently, no doubt high ranking officials involved in various talks. They will be coordinated with Israel and Iran and protected by the forces in the gulf. ETD is an etihad flight the UAE airline One flew right up the middle of Iran yesterday which seemed extraordinary

    Looks like an early Hermes 900, I believe current fitment has been upgraded to Rotax 916IS

    structurally thats a very efficient design triangle are good. Aerodynamically, probably not so great

    The picture is an obvious joke, mainly at the expense of the Cherokee, its not supposed to be an accurate performance chart

    Thought I might be being a bit harsh so just watched another of his titled as an in depth analysis of an E 175 Gear incident, he makes assumptions as to what the crew did and then explains an emergency gear down system that this aircraft doesnt even have I'll give him 5/10

    I've seen a few of this guys videos posted here now, Can't say I find him much of an analyst he just seems to repeat obvious stuff.

    My father en-route to NZ had a stop off in Chicago some years ago (dont remember what airline). The barely trained monkeys there kept him detained for 4 hours as he could not produce the required thumbprint from both hands and therefore the box on the form could not be ticked My father had lost one arm in an accident 30 years before. I have good friends in America and have travelled some there mostly west coast, I'll see what happens in 4 years time before considering further visits

    GWH, where did you get that Max speed figure from?, it was nowhere near as fast as that P.S. Are you perhaps confusing it with the vaguely similar looking De havilland Hornet that they reckoned could do 475mph

    Looks to be a single piston not 2 opposing?, if so it definately needs to have some float sideways. If this is the case a clean pin with some anti sieze on and no grooves in the pin is the way to go

    I tend to use MX type motorcycle grips, ODI make decent ones

    Pictures I've seen show members of the public wandering around the wreckage with no attempts by the authorities to kep them away. There will much Carbon fibre floating about which on top of the usual toxic crap found at a metal airliners crash site will probably cause a few more deaths in years to come. I really dislike the use of Carbon fibre composites, Once its in a resin build up you cant just recycle it like aluminium...will be the next century's Asbestos IMO, horrible stuff

    About time they stuck a turbine on it. If they can sell it for less than a comparably outfitted Kodiak I reckon it would do well

    I'm sure they are great to fly but they hit it hard with the ugly stick (I can attest it looks no better in the flesh) Shame as the original was such a looker

    AFAIK anaphylactic reactions come on very quickly, I'm sensitive to Bee stings though not to the extent of anaphylactic shock and the sting site starts swelling almost immediately. It's a shame as I enjoyed my short time keeping Bees
