  15. Not as old as the bikes Nev - a 1955 Auster J5B as long as everything proceeds as planned !
  16. I am in the process of buying - main reason is that I like old aircraft - makes no financial sense but neither do many other leisure pastimes !
  17. There was one - and a Tiger Moth - not there now. There is another in pieces on the field but want something more operational ! (its not for sale anyway)
  18. Tom - do you know someone with an aircraft at every airport worldwide ?
  19. Flying Wild Alaska is my favourite - the Alaska Wingmen is almost documentary - not "flow" - but still good. Ice Pilots is fun too. I wonder when someone will produce a show on flying in PNG
  20. Info sent - I have decided to wait for one that doesn't need the work
  21. Saw the Harley parked outside your work today - looks very nice - hope you are enjoying it
  22. I talked it through with my engineer this afternoon - he agrees with the comments made here - will end up needing recover - his estimate for getting it done professionally is about $10K per wing !! I think I will probably pass and keep loking for one that has already been done. Anyone know of any good Austers for sale ?
