    This forum is the only social contact i have ,aviation wise on a regular basis . Its been a valuble resorce on the avocet project , and has for me been better value than a Shrinks 2 bobs worth ! I think this site is..... ( stuffed up ) ( i phone). unique in the forum world ,and not so buisy that its hard to keep up with , more options ? I guesse some need more , im hapy just to plod away on the i phone . Mike

    I still want the paper version , I just dont need the "VOUGE" style paper , the smell , the wast of good resorces ,. Ill settle for glossy cover and LESS quality pages. . More quallity on the content . Cheaper advertising And discounts ,based on a case by case . Now that would be a members Magazine !!!!!!!! Mike

    We believe you , i listend to those recordings to and i think the pilots a hoax , the recordings repeat them selves , How many times did that controler clear that plane to FL 180 ?

    On the magazine topic , ide settle for a lower quality paper , After all , once read they are filed away ,generally never looked at again , or eventually recycled . In an ever decreasing shelf space world . I know the " shop front " glossy front page look to attract the eye , but ive seen enthusiest mag's with gloss front page and lower quality pages . Surely savings could be made ? Mike

    In my experiance its not a members magazine As members we have to pay full market rates if we want to advertise AVIATION endevers from ausi aviators having a go . I for one carnt aford it , as if a flegling self funded puts thousands of $into advertising . Yea , idid get a bit peaved a couple years ago when I brought in from england those jaby oil temp thermostats with great ideas of selling a few at a reasonable price & 270. From memory . To advertise in the mag for one year ,again from memory would have put the price of the thermostat to about $ 400 Thats a real sevice to our members , And yes i told my board member , And yes also spoke to our editor , And yes ,i gave up on the idea to help members through our mag .that and other products that im in the process of developing And yes i do like our mag , i just wish it was ours to use reasonably .     I also had concerns about my jab engine , i talked to ian bent , and asked him if i needed to upgrade , His answer was if its going ok , leave it alone. , doesnt take much bad press to spook ( sometimes unnessesary) any prospective buyers. Ive had several jabs over the years 4 & 6 cyl , and have had no issues that seem to get front page here. Pm me if youd like to talk , And iknow of a couple of good examples for sale .     Had another fly this morning, smooth air at 400o agl . Did the the first of the phugoids , trimmed at straight & level the pushed forward on the stick and let go , The Osolation took 35seconds to come back to level the same for pulling up on the stick and letting go. Ive also lost the fear factor since the last couple of flights , got the bug back , i feel great , and like to thank the good folk on this site . I realy have benifited from all your support these last couple of years . Cheers Mike.

    Ive been flying around home strip , Yhe new fin and winglets combined geta rid off the fish tail yaw in turbulence, feels " normal " ( about time . Theres an opening day on the first Nov.at Clare airport in SA . I might fly it down there 1.5hr flight. Theres a dinner night 80$ head . Motors running sweet and now im waint for still conditions to begin testing for phugiods ect , Mike
