    Hi all, can anyone explain this brief shudder at about 150ft on tkof which dissipates quickly? Could it be out of balance tyres ? Appreciate comments thanks Guys

    Thanks Col, yes I see that Aircraft Spruce in the USA sell an Antenna that is designed to be mounted in the fuselage which negates the need to drill holes etc, which could be connected to Com 2. Still thinking about the second Com situation and I do have a spare space next to the existing Com.

    And only seen them on Aircraft parked outside for long periods of inactivity

    Ive seen them on Cessnas. Two pieces of wood like material attached to either side of the Rudder interconnected and screwed tight to prevent the Rudder from moving in strong wind. Just dont forget to remove during pre flight!!!

    Thanks Phil, I have one fitted and wondering whether to have another as a backup. Maybe should have had 2 from the outset (factory build). Did the Handheld have enough power to transmit properly?and could you hear transmissions above the engine noise?

    Ryan you will never get into the Hilton at Oshkosh, its pre booked every year and not that big!

    Andy do you run 2 MicroAirs in your Jab, and where did you put the second Antenna?

    I've had the coax Antenna re crimped at the Radio end and my Battery was low as well. Did a Radio check in the Hangar with good result so just waiting for winds to drop and check it in the air.

    Hi Frank, I see there are a couple of Antennas on the market for mounting within the aircraft structure. What type do you use and where do you run the coax?
