    NSW nth coast is pretty nice country & if you want to o/night land at Palmers Is airstrip (Yamba area) & I can collect you to stay at Yamba Beach Motel & return you next day or whenever:thumb up:

    Totally agree Frank ,if a prac. course is done & what you have learnt isnt used for some time who's going to remember whats learnt,the main thing I see is flyers need to know where to find the information they need regarding maintenance if needed.

    Allan the test took me about 90 minutes & being a dummy with I computers couldnt access the learning course so just winged it & luckily passed,if you contact Hayley at RAAus she is very helpfull.I think they are at some stage bringing out a hardcopy for us not of the computer age ,cheers Max.

    Yes Ive just done the test & didnt go great but passed as I have problem getting around computers .if you are ok with computrs I dont think it would be too hard to refer to learning guide & get 100%.Anyone with a bit of nouse doing a service or whatever & having a problem would surely contact machine or engine manufacturer for assistance which most are only too glad to help.

    ok thanks on the camera ,Im not real cluey on downloading /ading music ect. but will have to give it a crack .Did you end up fitting a cruise control ,I had one unfitted come with my machine & fitted it recently & now wouldnt be without it

      Good to hear your happy with your cruise control I have not got around to fitting one yet but will.Its pretty easy making movies with the go pro,just down load windows live essentials on your pc and click onto movie maker then connect your go pro to your pc and drag your film to the movie maker window, and it does it for you

      I use the GoPro White edition with the wrist strap remote control so i can switch from video mode to camera mode.while flying.The remote is sold separately.

    According to local paper this fella has been charged with a range of offences including manslaughter,it says he seen power lines before contact but waay to late for any action to be taken (obviously).I guess the bloke would feel like crap & have to live with this for the rest of his life but it was avoidable.

    Originating from King Island the only way to leave th palce is fly & I always enjoyed it as a kid (DC3,Fokker,SAAB) no matter how bumpy.I still enjoy flying in fixed wing but have no want to fly one but enjoy the thrill & simplicity of my Powered Parachute.

    Had a nice flight around Yamba,couple of days ago,lucky enough to find a great bloke with a private strip who allows me to use anytime.The strip is East /West which can be a bit tricky as these things should be head wind only t/off but sugar cane is spongy,ha ha.
