Maybe I'm just too naive in these matters but the apathy showen by a large percentage of this organization is just astounding. Thats why I thought if more people were given the chance to discuss these things on a site such as this then maybe we could have abit more CLOUT, and the only way to reach all members sucsessfully is t.he magazine that each and every one of us gets each month.
Tell me to go jump if you like and I would not be offended
I remember the the product well. Tried it a few times on planes that needed some help staying together. Stronger than the heat shrunk solar span and didnt puncture as easily.
This is the Pete Austin designed Nieuport where all surfaces are flat, no curves. Just wait till I do the front deck. It should look like a toolbox with wings when I'm finished.
New seat in ply with a contoured foam backing. Solid. Will be good with a piece of foam on the seat. If im smart enough I shoud be able to use the excess hieght as a bulkhead
A couple of picies of the firewall, tailwheel, and the seat, which i will be removing and replacing with a ply base and back. The plastic one flexes too much for my liking.
A UD-2 is a one off design. its a two side by side with thruster wings mid mounted. I've been told that the UD stands for Ugly Duckling. It was regoed with the name Corella.
