image.jpg.a72c606100e5c326b67c9bdd829fd092.jpg I took my brother for his second flight ever. He came from Cuba two weeks ago and is discovering the world. I took him on the Drifter on the front seat. After we landed I took him around Tamiami airport. He saw this airplane and wanted to take a picture with the helmet. "This is how I felt while flying the Drifter" he said.

Here some pictures from last Monday. It was Memorial Day and we could not let it pass. Our respect and admiration to the brave men who died defending the freedom we enjoy today. Let's not forget the past so we don't have to suffer it again.

Goodonya Samuel! Beautiful photos!!!!

Yesterday, was a special day! My good friend, Bob Pagett (Rotary Man,on here), his partner June and friends of theirs, Barry and Denise Smith, all from Sydney and in Cairns for the weekend, came in to catch up with Frances and me!

Bob, obtained his AUF pilot certificate, in my Drifter way back when I was instructing! Blames me for catching the flying bug and went on to be a commercial Helicopter pilot and instructor, running his own flying school, for several years, out of Cairns aerodrome.

This is Bob and June.

Barry and Denise.

I met Barry, for the first time yesterday! He decided he may never get the opportunity again to have a fly in a Drifter, so, with a break in the bad weather, I took him up! First time in an Ultralight!

Frank,

The angle of climb looks impressive but it is not so. Really it is a combination of doing a Zoom climb for the pictures and the angle at which the camera was placed. As soon as I passed that point I had to not only level but to dive a little to keep flying.

Keep the great job of taking up passengers and increasing the great reputation the Drifter deserves.
