red750
Modified from the civilian Beech Model 36 Bonanza under the Pave Eagle II program, the 27 QU-22Bs delivered to the U.S. Air Force contained several changes for military service. The QU-22B carried a large generator above the engine to power its electronic equipment and additional fuel in extended wing tip tanks for increased range. Its remote control equipment allowed the QU-22B to be flown directly by an onboard pilot or as an unmanned drone.

Cobalt
half an hour with photoshop? I dont see any reason why anybody would go through the effort to make this in photoshop. It is well within the capabilities of both aircraft and i have no doubt that it would be real.
rgmwa
This would not have been an easy shot to get. Edit: Oops!. Posted about Mark Albery below, but from deanfi's post I see it's a different Beech 18, and RV-8. My mistake, however I'll leave the links as it's an interesting story. What are the odds of getting the wrong RV-8 and Beech 18 combination? There's a background story to this. Mark Albery flew his RV-8 from the UK to the US in 2017 accompanied by a Beech 18.
