Skip lube only goes on the ball joints of muffler (100 hrly).  Never on header pipe flange to head or the stud nuts that hold the header plates at the attachment to the heads.

Why not?

- I have been doing this for the last 10-12 years - works a treat - no problems - eases all the alignments and ensures non galling removal of exhaust nuts.

Whats not to like?

Rotax make all the engines for BRP products plus kart, aircraft and some OEM motorcycles.

yes....
the sea-doo use a 4 cylinder intercooled, with heat exchanger (with supercharger option)
the can-am a 3 cylinder or v-twin,
the Aprilia and Buell engines they manufactured were V-twin's

very different engine architecture, they don't even share oil filters.
I imagine the horizontally aircraft engine are even more different again

BRP own Rotax, BRP also own can-am, sea-doo, ski-doo

but its a bit like Kawasaki manufacture motorcycles, as well as ships and aircraft.
reality is the divisions are mostly separate just sharing a name.

Top marks for so doing - you are allowed to go "the extra mile"  - as long as it doesn't result in a problem.

Three mates had a hard time finishing the 19th. By the time they did the club had an albatross - 3 under par.

I bought some from Bert Flood in 2020.  On the invoice the part number is 842950 - Lock Nut M8-SW12, at that time they were $3.01 each.

Like I already mentioned, the nut and bolt shop didn't sell exhaust nuts. Full stop. But the exhaust shop down the road from them got me some 🙂
